    There were runs aplenty on Saturday, as Pella Heat A 10U outshone Humboldt Thundercats 10U 20-14. Pella Heat A 10U collected nine hits, while Humboldt Thundercats 10U had three.

    Pella Heat A 10U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Humboldt Thundercats 10U committed an error, Beckett J singled, Grant H singled, and Oliver M singled, each scoring one run.

    Pella Heat A 10U scored seven runs on two hits in the top of the second inning. Esai S drew a walk, scoring one run, Beckett singled, scoring one run, Grant drew a walk, scoring one run, a steal of home scored one run, Beau V hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored one run.

    Humboldt Thundercats 10U scored seven runs on two hits in the bottom of the second inning. Tryce was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, CH P grounded out, scoring one run, Walker F tripled, scoring one run, Beau P singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Gabe H drew a walk, scoring one run, and Tryce drew a walk, scoring one run.

    Beckett J showed a strong eye at the plate on Saturday, as Beckett walked three times while leading Pella Heat A 10U to a 27-0 victory over Battle Hawks 10U.

    Pella Heat A 10U won thanks in part to 15 runs in the second inning. Oliver M tripled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Hudson H drew a walk, scoring one run, Esai S drew a walk, scoring one run, a dropped third strike scored one run, Grant H drew a walk, scoring one run, Booker K drew a walk, scoring one run, Beau V drew a walk, scoring one run, Esai drew a walk, scoring one run, Gannon A singled, scoring two runs, and Grant singled, scoring one run.

    Pella Heat A 10U jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after an error scored two runs, Beckett drew a walk, scoring one run, Booker singled, scoring one run, Beau singled, scoring two runs, Alex L singled, scoring two runs, Gannon drew a walk, scoring one run, and Beckett homered to right field, scoring three runs.

    Hudson stepped on the hill first for Pella Heat A 10U. The lefty allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out none and walking three. Knox S started the game for Battle Hawks 10U. They gave up four hits and 10 runs (eight earned) over two-thirds of an inning, striking out none and walking six.

    Beckett, Gannon, Taylen B, Oliver, Beau, Grant, Alex, and Booker each collected one hit for Pella Heat A 10U. Pella Heat A 10U had patience at the plate, accumulating 20 walks for the game.     Booker K collected three hits in three at bats, as Pella Heat A 10U defeated Generals 10U 21-6 on Sunday. Booker singled in the second inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the second inning.

    Generals 10U got on the board in the first inning after a passed ball scored one run.

    Pella Heat A 10U scored on a passed ball, which helped Pella Heat A 10U tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

    Generals 10U took the lead in the top of the second inning after Elliott K singled, Keegan M walked, and Pella Heat A 10U committed an error, each scoring one run.

    Pella Heat A 10U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring 10 runs on six hits to take a 11-4 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Beckett J that drove in two.

    Pella Heat A 10U scored 10 runs on five hits in the bottom of the third inning.
