    Pella Heat A 10U easily dispatched Bellevue Bruins 10U on Saturday, 12-6.

    Pella Heat A 10U jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Gannon A drew a walk, scoring one run, Booker K was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Alex L drew a walk, scoring one run, Oliver M drew a walk, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored one run.

    Pella Heat A 10U added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Beckett J singled, and Pella Heat A 10U scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.

    Esai S led things off on the bump for Pella Heat A 10U. The starting pitcher gave up two hits and four runs (three earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking four. Beckett appeared in relief for Pella Heat A 10U.

    Beckett drove the middle of the lineup, leading Pella Heat A 10U with two runs batted in. The shortstop went 2-for-2 on the day. Gannon paced Pella Heat A 10U with two walks.     Both teams put up a bunch of runs, but Pella Heat A 10U fell to Midwest Bombers 10U 14-10 on Sunday. Midwest Bombers 10U collected five hits, while Pella Heat A 10U had nine.

    Esai S collected three hits in three at bats in the loss. Esai singled in the second inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fourth inning.

    Pella Heat A 10U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Hudson H walked, Beckett J doubled, and Alex L grounded out, each scoring one run.

    Pella Heat A 10U scored five runs on three hits in the top of the second inning. Taylen B doubled, scoring two runs, Esai singled, scoring one run, a passed ball scored one run, and Beckett singled, scoring one run.

    Midwest Bombers 10U scored six runs on three hits in the bottom of the second inning. Drake F drew a walk, scoring one run, Alec J singled, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs, and an error scored one run.

    A steal of home by Beau V extended the Pella Heat A 10U lead to 9-6 in the top of the third inning.

    In the bottom of the third inning, Midwest Bombers 10U went back into the lead after Pella Heat A 10U dropped a third strike, Harrison D walked, Mason R walked, Nolan M walked, and Asher J walked, each scoring one run.

    Pella Heat A 10U tied the game in the top of the fourth thanks to a double by Gannon A, and a tag up by Gannon.

    Hudson started on the mound for Pella Heat A 10U. The southpaw gave up three hits and eight runs (five earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out three and walking six. Nolan began the game for Midwest Bombers 10U. The righty allowed three hits and six runs (five earned) over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking three.
